Fix "Could Not Locate Resources' Error" in Overwatch 2

Have you ever tried to launch Overwatch 2 and received the error message “Could not locate resources (0xE00300E0)”? Frustrating as it may be, this error prevents you from doing anything in the game.

Not to worry; lots of other people have mentioned this, too. The Battle.net client is unaffected by this issue, but Overwatch 2 is not.

Where does this go wrong, then? Well, it happens typically when the game is missing launch resources. Causes for this include game file corruption and old driver software.

  • On the left-hand side of the app, find and click on “Overwatch.”
